We would like to recognize the members of the Redding Rodeo Association as our volunteers of the quarter for their extraordinary support of Think Pink and dedication to our message of breast cancer awareness. We thank Lee Luft, 2015 President, for his leadership and contributions in chairing (and MC’ing) the highly successful Cowboy Up – Think Pink event that was first held in 2010. Another key member is Think Pinker, Laurie Alexander, who puts the FUN in fundraising with Chicks N Chaps, held at the Redding Rodeo in May. Next year will be the 5th anniversary of that event. Behind the scenes, we thank Kip Powers, RRA Treasurer, who works tirelessly selling tickets and keeping track of all the money raised, and we offer our appreciation for ALL members of the Redding Rodeo Association and their committees who volunteer their time, not only to make these events successful, but to also spread the breast cancer awareness message through their Tough Enough To Wear Pink night at the Rodeo. Since kicking off these major fundraisers, our Redding Rodeo partners have contributed close to $40,000 (and counting) to help support Nor-Cal Think Pink. Please join us in tipping our pink hats to the Redding Rodeo Association!

Show your support for the 6th Cowboy Up – Think Pink event to be held September 19, 2015 at the Redding Rodeo Grounds. For more information, please visit ReddingRodeo.com.
