October is Think Pink Month! Raise Breast Cancer Awareness at your business, home, school, social media platform and community.
Here are FIVE easy ways to PAINT THE TOWN PINK:
1. DECORATE TO WIN
Enter our Decorating Contest by posting a photo of your “Pinked” business or home on Facebook with hashtag #PaintTheTownPink. The photo with the most votes will win. Deadline to post your photo is October 24th. Winning Business will receive a catered lunch. Winning Home will receive a gift card to a local business.
To help you decorate; Think Pink Yard Signs are available for purchase at the Redding Tri Counties Bank locations for $5 each.
Or have a Pink Ribbon painted on your front lawn for $55 by Dan Ramelli. 15% of proceeds will be donated back to Nor-Cal Think Pink.
2. DRESS PINK ON THURSDAYS
Nor-Cal Think Pink apparel will once again be available for purchase at the Hilltop Redding Tri Counties Bank location.
Take a selfie and post using hashtag #ThinkPinkThursdays
3. GRAB A CALENDAR FOR YOU AND A FRIEND
Our Pets & Wildlife 2021/2022 Think Pink Calendar will be released to the public on October 21st!
We strongly encourage reserving your calendar in advance in increments of 25 online at www.NorCalThinkPink.org. Reserved calendars will be drive-up pick up the evening before on October 20th 5-8pm at the Tri Counties Bank on South St. in Redding.
Or you can pick up your calendar anytime as of October 21st at the Downtown Tri Counties Bank while supplies last.
4. PHOTOGRAPH THE PINK SUNDIAL BRIDGE
The Sundial Bridge will be lit in pink on October 21st-24th. Take a stroll, photograph, and spread awareness with this beautiful pink beacon for Breast Cancer Awareness.
