This is not the end. In fact, this is the beginning. Cancer in any form is hard to digest, but we as humans grow smarter every day. Especially today. I found out from a regular mammogram. My radiologist saw something different than my picture from last year. I have dense breast; something I have been secretly proud of, but in truth, it is hard to see cancer. I was lucky. They said…. this is probably nothing…but THAT turned into something. My first surgeon recommended mastectomy. My second and third recommended lumpectomy. I was lucky to have three options, and I chose lumpectomy. There is never a right choice and never will be. Go with your gut and choose to fight!
