The 5th Annual 5K on October 5th!
Grab your running shoes and PINK swag and join us on the 1st Saturday of October, as we RUN into our Think Pink events with the 5th Annual Nor-Cal Think Pink 5K Walk/Run.
Event Date: October 5th, 2024
The event will be held on October 5th, 2024 at the Turtle Bay Exploration Park Arboretum. This year, all proceeds go towards the expansion of the NCTP Breast Cancer Detection Fund through MD Imaging. These funds help provide breast cancer detection screening or other breast cancer diagnostic services for those who do not have adequate insurance coverage.
Opportunities to support this event include participating in the race, volunteering on race day, or sponsoring the event.
Event Details
Register to Run
- Adults $25, Youth (18 and under) $15, Kids 5 & under are Free
- Packet pickup will be held at Lake Redding Golf Course 1795 Benton Drive, from 12pm - 6pm on Friday, October 4th; or, at the event from 8:30am - 9:00am
- Share the #norcalthinkpink5k & Facebook event and get entered to win a $100 value prize. Enter by October 2nd
Race Day
- Arrive 8:30am. Get there early to enjoy the entertainment and enter the raffle drawing!
- Same-Day Race Registration 8:30am - 9:00am
- Race begins at 9:30am
- #norcalthinkpink5k $100 value prize drawing prior to award ceremony
- Raffle drawing will be held during the race
- Award ceremony for 1st Place based on age groups, and overall male and female winner

There is a 98% survival rate when breast cancer is caught and treated early! It is our hope that through advocacy and outreach education within our surrounding Northern California communities, women and men will recognize the importance of annual mammograms; monthly breast self-exams, and other early detection tools.

- $6,000 Title Sponsor Level: Name and logo alongside NCTP Logo and recognition on ALL media and advertisements. Includes a booth at the event and entry for 8 participants. Everywhere we are, you are! Title Sponsor deadline is July 1st. (Limit 1 sponsor)
- **$3,000 Awards Sponsor Level: Logo on all awards for race winners. Includes sponsorship recognition on event marketing and booth at the event. (**Limit of 1 sponsor is already filled)
- $2,000 Premier Sponsor Level: Logo placement and mention on all event marketing including radio and online advertising, poster, print ads, media with banner, booth at the event, and team of 4 with recognition at event. Large logo will be printed on the 5k participant bib (includes first 500 bibs) as the premier sponsor.
- $1,000 Gold Sponsor Level: Includes all the below listed sponsor benefits, media with banner, booth, recognition at the event and team of 2.
- $600 Silver Sponsor Level: Logo on all online advertising with media mention, recognition at the event, logo on registration banners and team of 2.
- $350 Bronze Sponsor Level: Logo on all printed advertisement, signage and recognition at the event, and logo displayed at welcome ceremony.
